Casa Myh

will be the name of my new house.
 
Myh – meaning ‘mind your head’  as all of the doors are small and i am so tall.  it will be a regular thing to see me with a bruised forehead and black eyes soon.  a small price to pay for a large chunk of tranquility.
 
so this afternoon went to tonel for a surf.  huge waves but closing real quick so sat on the beach for a few hours.
 
the weather has changed since the rain last week, the wind is up and dare i say it, i actually felt cold on the beach today.
 
might have to get the wetsuit out again soon.
 
will check tonel again in an hour, the tide will have pushed in and might have some good waves.  I laughed a lot at the grockles today, trying to surf in what was very hard conditions…..i also wonder why they would try to surf without getting any lessons first………one of lifes little mysteries i guess
 
Donnie Darko – have you seen this film?  watched it last night and again today, i am just trying to understand what it is all about, will watch it again this week i am sure.  if anyone has worked it out, please let me know – an excellent film and when it ends, your thoughts begin to try and work out what was going on!  much better than a disney ‘happily ever after’ ending.

the black toe mysteries

ever since my arrival here, i have suffered the occasional black, bruised toe.  until thursday , i had no idea how this was happening.
 
at amado, while walking along the beach ,i kicked a rock.  on friday, my toe was bruised so the mystery was resolved.  My only worry now is that i can kick a rock so hard to make my toe go black and not feel it at the time.
 
so anyway, up early today to go for a surf.  just bought a couple of blocks of wax and need to wax up my stick so maybe will be here again later

the mighty amado

was host to my sunset surf tonight, a sweet little wave too
 
decided to go after work and headed north with lorna from the bubble.
 
perfect sunset.
 
my god, my life is perfect right now!!!!
 
every night a crazy sunset, bought my dream house and even have a dream woman to boot!!!! the whole nine yards baby

money transfer

tomorrow (wednesday) is D Day.  money is ready to transfer from my UK account.
 
am i scared, no!
 
am i excited – no not really
 
but i am gagging to move into my own house again.
 
finally, it is going to happen.
 
this place is everything i wanted and dreamed about while in the uk, shortly , it will be reality

sunday night

all is well in the algarve yet again, we have the lowest risk of fires but no waves.
 
sandra has left for the weekend but returns next weekend and stays for a whole week.
 
two weeks and alex is here, followed two days later by rupert and dean and five days after than, christine arrives, will be a busy month.
 
maybe i will get them to help me tidy up the house a little.

what did you do today??

i went for a surf, lazed on a beach (or two) and bought a house!!
 
remember that dream property that i mentioned a few days ago?????’well today the owner called and accepted my offer.  looks like i will move in before the end of september.
 
an absolutely perfect place, i cannot describe, but lookout for photos soon, sea view, nearly 700m2 of land, four bedrooms, 2 maybe 3 anexes. my own fig trees and herb garden, 4 bedrooms and did i mention the sea view?????? not even russ and sara have a sea view ( te he heee)
 
now, my sister would say at this point, ´wayne can fall in shit and still come up smelling of roses’  this is true, the place is worth 50% more than i will pay for it……..it is so perfect, typically portuguese, everything i ever wanted and probably more too.
 
ben paid 80.000 for a plot of land half this size, what an absolute bargain………OH MY GOD
 
it finally happened, only took ten months but this place is worth the wait!
 
ok, so by now i am a little drunk sostruggling to type well.  tomorrow igo back to work.
 
next weekend my latina beauty will be here for a week then my faggot friend from cornwall will come, closelyfollowed by two emmetts from rugby, than a week later christine arrves
 
gonna be a busy month
 
 
gotta go, i fancy a burger now

what a day

two surfs at mareta and then onto baranco this afternoon.  i am so wasted it is unbelievable.  just passed mareta and it is still pumping but i am completely wiped out.
