i sat at martinhal at midnight, listening to the ocean and moby.  i saw my first shooting star in years – how romantic.

today the temperature hit 40 degrees in some parts of portugal, here, it only managed a measely 38 degrees but all good.

hit the surf after work at mareta, water temp is up to a gorgeous 21 degrees and climbing

just in the bubble updating my space and adding some new pictures finally.

i found myself on the crest of the wav today at arrifana.  i tip toed to the front of the board to try and get down the face again but when i saw how shallow the water was, i decided a bail out was the best option.  nice wave all the same

so the cocktail trial has been postponed but the football is on, portugal are playing so i came to the bar to watch the game…..not really a footie fan but the wind is still spoiling the surf,

Marilia and Xana are down for the weekend from lisbon……….foolishly , i said they could stay with me, i have a feeling that i might just regret that by the time the weekend is out.  I gave them a spare key so they can come and go as they please.  They asked if i was going to the beach with them later…….i dont think they realised how windy it is at the moment.  Anyway, i have to finish the longboard this weekend so beach time will be a rarety.

what is it with chicks and driving?  it took them over five hours to drive from lisbon, it should only take three normally.

Jose is leaving the bubble longe soon so Peter has to learn how to make cocktails.  He just roped me in to tasting his efforts tomorrow night, cocktail school starts a 6pm – by 8, i guess we will be completely wasted………..i wonder if he will be any good ??????

got a coat of glass on the board.  hopefully by sunday it will be finished so i can surf midweek.

been a long time in the fixing, i miss it.
